I completed my Bachelor of Science in Medical Technology at the University of Wisconsin, Eau Claire. After school I worked for the American Red Cross testing infectious disease markers for donated blood products.
In 1997 I transistioned into HLA at the University of Minnesota Immunology Laboratory. My love of HLA took me to other HLA laboratories growing my knowledge and experience.
In my role at Mayo Clinic I am able to stay in touch with clinical cases as well as continue to grow the knowledge of laboratory staff and clinical teams.
