Olga Gerova (Makarenko), born on 12/19/1983, graduated from the Medical Faculty of Pavlov St. Petersburg State Medical University in 2008. From 2008-2009, she completed an internship at the MAPO Department of Clinical Laboratory Diagnostics. From 2010 to 2017, she was an employee of the laboratory of hystotyping at the R.M. Gorbacheva DOGiT Research Institute. She was a member of the European Association of Immunogenetics. She worked on the development of the management of an unrelated donor at all stages of joining the register of unrelated donors, starting from participation in recruitment campaigns, ending with medical history support. From 2017 to the present, she have been working at the National Bone Marrow Donor Registry. Vasya Perevoshchikova, she is the medical director, she organize the processes of working with potential unrelated bone marrow donors. For the first time, we have set up a massive NGS laboratory for streaming typing of donors in Russia. She is a member of the Association of the World Association of Bone Marrow Donors. She is applying for a scientific degree in healthcare organization (more than 35 publications). She is a consultant on the creation of a registry of stem cell donors in the Republic of Uzbekistan.
