Dr. Sanfilippo is the Co-Director of the Histocompatibility and Immunogenetics Laboratory of the Piedmont Transplant Institute in Atlanta, GA. He holds a PhD in Immunology and Microbial Disease from Albany Medical College. Dr. Sanfilippo is currently the Middle Co-Chair of the ASHI Proficiency Testing Committee, the Chair of the Bylaws Commitee, a member of the ASHI Annual Meeting Abstract Committee, a member of the ASHI Professional Standards Division Task Force, and a member of the AMLI Education Committee.
