Medhat Askar is a laboratory medicine physician scientist, and an academic executive specialized in transplant immunology and cell and gene therapy. He holds clinical and academic positions in USA and the Middle East. He serves as the Clinical Advisor for Health Sciences at Qatar University and leads the Division of Clinical and Transplantation Immunology at Hamad Medical Corporation, Qatar, a Clinical Professor at Texas A&M Health Science Center College of Medicine and the Advisor for Clinical Services at The NMDP.
