Carey is currently the Transplant Immunology Laboratory Supervisor at KSL Diagnostics in Buffalo, NY. She first joined the laboratory in 2004 and has held this position since 2011. She has been an active member of ASHI for several years, having served on the Board of Directors, and is currently the Vice President of the Society. She has served as the Chair of the Technologists’ Affairs, Membership, and Communications, Engagement and Marketing Committee. She also serves as a member of the ACHI CHA/CHT/CHS Examination Committee and has written several articles for ASHI Quarterly. Carey is dedicated to the advancement of technologists in the field and committed to increasing technologist participation at all levels.
