Dr. Hod Dvorai is an Associate Professor of Pathology at SUNY Upstate Medical University in Syracuse, New York. She serves as the Director of SUNY Upstate’s HLA laboratory, and as an Assistant Director of SUNY Upstate’s Pathology Residency Program. Additionally, she serves as the Director of Applied Immunogenetics HLA laboratory. Dr. Hod Dvorai completed her PhD in Immunology at the Technion - Israel institute of technology, studying the epigenetics of CD4+ T-cells, followed by a Transplant Immunology Fellowship at the Transplant Immunology Laboratory at Northwestern University. She is an enthusiastic volunteer and serves on multiple ASHI, ACHI and UNOS committees. She is currently the Program Director of the ASHI PT Committee, the Vice-Chair of ASHI-University, a member of the ACHI DTRC/Portfolio Committee, a member of the ASHI Professional Standards Division Task Force, and a past member of the UNOS Histo-Committee, UNOS MPSC-Histo Advisory Subcommittee, ASHI Annual Meeting Abstract Committee, and ASHI Regional Education Workshop Faculty and Planning Committee.
