Jenna Ko, BS, is a Biomedical Sciences PhD candidate at Tulane University School of Medicine. She is working on a project focusing on ultra highly sensitized kidney transplant candidates and identifying HLA-compatible transplant opportunities for them within the US donor kidney allocation system. Her project also focuses on comparing HLA molecular mismatch metrics for risk stratification of graft failure outcomes in deceased donor kidney transplant pairs. She is interested in using biomedical informatics approaches to enhance donor-recipient histocompatibility assessments in solid organ transplantation. Before joining the BMS graduate program at Tulane, Jenna received her BS in Physiological Science at University of California, Los Angeles.
