Brendon Lamarche is a Registered Nurse and 2nd year Master of Nursing – Nurse Practitioner student at the University of Alberta. He works under the supervision of Dr. Anne Halpin and Dr. Edith Pituskin in the lab of Dr. Lori West. His thesis research focuses on ABO sequencing data and its correlation with ABO antibody profiles, with the goal of advancing ABO-incompatible transplantation.
Brendon has contributed to the field through abstract submissions and oral presentations to past national and international groups such as the Canadian Society of Transplantation and the International Society of Heart and Lung Transplantation. His academic and clinical interests center on transplant immunology, histocompatibility, and the translation of laboratory findings into improved patient outcomes.
