Derek Benidt is a Technical Specialist I in the Tissue Typing (HLA) Lab at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota. He graduated from the University of Wisconsin – Madison in 2016 with a bachelor’s degree in biology. He started at Mayo Clinic in 2017 and joined the HLA lab in 2019. His primary focus in the lab is Next Generation Sequencing, antibody screening, and flow cytometric crossmatching.
