Dr. Gaurav Tripathi, PhD in Immunogenetics from King George’s Medical University, India, currently serves as the HLA Analytical Supervisor and Director Assistant at a Kashi Clinical Laboratory. With over a decade of international experience in transplant immunology, histocompatibility testing, and translational research, Dr. Tripathi brings both scientific depth and clinical precision to the lab’s operations.
Since January 2025, Dr. Tripathi has been continuing an ASHI-approved HLA Director-in-training clinical fellowship at Kashi Clinical Laboratories, Oregon. Prior to this, Dr. Tripathi completed an ASHI-accredited HLA Director-in-training fellowship at Temple University Hospital, Philadelphia for two years (2023–2024), strengthening their clinical competencies in histocompatibility and immunogenetics for solid organ and hematopoietic stem cell transplantation.
Earlier in his career, Dr. Tripathi worked for over 10 years as a Scientist/Sr. Analyst at the University of Calgary, Canada, and as a Visiting Research Scientist at HUMV, Spain.
Dr. Tripathi is an award-winning researcher with over 35 peer-reviewed publications, a book chapter, and active memberships in multiple scientific societies. His dedication to advancing transplant diagnostics and immunogenetics continues to guide his contributions in clinical HLA practice.
