My career in histocompatibility and immunogenetics began as a technologist that has spanned 8 years across HLA labs at the University of Texas Health Science Center in Houston, Baylor College of Medicine, and Baylor Scott and White University Medical Center in Dallas. I went on to receive a Master of Science in Microbiology, Immunology, and Pathology from Colorado State University. I returned to Baylor College Medicine for my PhD in Immunology, and where I am currently undergoing postdoctoral training.
