Neng Yu, MD, is Director of Clinical Pathology and Histocompatibility Laboratories at UMass Memorial Medical Center and Associate Professor of Pathology at UMass Chan Medical School. Board-certified by the American College of Histocompatibility and Immunogenetics, she has over 25 years of experience advancing transplant immunogenetics, molecular diagnostics, and clinical laboratory operations. Dr. Yu has held leadership roles with the American Red Cross and NMDP. With medical training and decades of laboratory leadership, Dr. Yu serves as an effective liaison between the clinical and laboratory worlds. She integrates expertise in transplant immunogenetics, molecular diagnostics, and quality systems to improve patient outcomes, advance innovation, and mentor future leaders in laboratory medicine and clinical pathology
