Mario A. Pulido, Ph.D. has completed a two-year Immunogenetics Fellowship at the UCLA Immunogenetics Center (UIC) . Prior industry experience in Cell and Gene Therapy applications motivated Dr. Pulido to pursue HLA competencies and certifications at the UIC to serve as an HLA lab director. Dr. Pulido enjoys performing HLA lab inspections and contributing to the pre and post transplant assessment for patient care. His doctoral dissertation at the Keck School of Medicine of the Univerisity of Southern California demostrated a possible strategy for small cell lung cancer immunotherapy. Lastly, Dr. Pulido enjoys meeting new ASHI member at the annual meetings.
