Luis Hidalgo is the co-director of the HLA laboratory at the University of Alabama - Birmingham. He is a transplant immunologist who has worked in histocompatibility since 2008 and served as a board-certified director in Canada and the U.S. since 2012. His research interests focus on immune effector mechanisms of antibody-mediated rejection and transplant diagnostics.
