Dr. Franz Fenninger is a Clinical Scientist in the HLA Laboratory at Vancouver General Hospital. He earned his PhD in Immunology from the University of British Columbia before immersing himself in the field of HLA. He began as a research scientist in the HLA laboratory at Vancouver General Hospital, working under the mentorship of Drs. Paul Keown, Karen Sherwood, and James Lan. After five years dedicated to research, Dr. Fenninger transitioned to the clinical side of HLA, embarking on his training as an HLA Director at the Vancouver Immunology laboratory.
