Yan Li is an instructor at Harvard Medical School and the assistant director of the HLA Lab at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center. He holds a Ph.D. in Medical Microbiology and Immunology from Creighton University and a Master’s in Computer Science from the Georgia Institute of Technology. His primary research focuses on developing novel testing methods and utilizing computer algorithms to interpret HLA assays and assess compatibility between donors and recipients.
