Dr. Asra Almubarak is a director in Training in Histocompatibility and Immunogenetics with a PhD in Medical Genetics and postdoctoral fellowship from The University of Alberta hospital foundation and Women and Children's Health Research Institute (WCHRI). She is working on rare skeletal genetic abnormalities using both animal and cellular models at the University of Alberta. Asra also has a graduate certificate in Laboratory Quality management system from the Michener institute-Toronto.
