Assistant Professor
Washington University St Louis
Dr. Nicholas Borcherding is an assistant professor and ASHI Director-in-Training at Washington University in the Department of Pathology and Immunology. He loves tackling complex biological questions with cutting-edge computational approaches. His journey started with an MD/PhD at the University of Iowa, where he used single-cell sequencing to explore the immune landscape of kidney cancer. As a resident and Post-Doc, he examined the intersection of deep learning and immunology, from predicting T-cell receptor antigen interactions and tracked intercellular mitochondria transfer using flow and single-cell sequencing technologies.
