Dr. Nicole Valenzuela completed her doctoral training at the University of California, Los Angeles, in research focused on the mechanisms of organ transplant rejection. She then obtained board certification from ACHI in 2016 and served as an Assistant and Associate Director at the UCLA Immunogenetics Center until 2024. Dr. Valenzuela moved to direct the HLA Laboratory at NorDx / MaineHealth in November 2024.
